WHY WE'RE HERE.
We started TILIT with the goal of offering expertly built, beautifully designed and hyper functional workwear to the hospitality world. As a working chef for almost 18 years Co-Founder Alex McCrery felt his uniform did not represent the pride and value that his career profession deserved. Not only was he underwhelmed with the market offerings for chef wear, but his coworkers and colleagues also longed for great workwear. Through rigorous testing, creative collaborations and a lot of sweat TILIT was born in the Fall of 2012. The rest is history.
WHO WE ARE.
We are hospitality. We aim to give you, our partners, the same experience you give your customers. We pride ourselves in understanding what goes into your everyday, responding to it with great clothing and then standing behind our goods to make sure you're not just satisfied, but wowed by the details and quality that have gone into our production process. We aim to make your brand experience shine, whether that's through our stock uniform program or working with your creative minds to implement a one of a kind custom uniform. Hospitality is in everything we do, it's who we are.
HOW WE STARTED.
Jenny Goodman and Alex McCrery met working in Commander's Palace Restaurant, New Orleans almost 20 years ago, a text book BOH and FOH marriage. They've been entiwined with hospitality ever since. TILIT started as a part time hustle, learning & growing with every step and the few dollars they had scraped together. By listening to the industry and responding with product improvements they've grown from an idea into the most exciting workwear company in Hospitality.
YOU'VE GOT LOTS OF QUESTIONS. SO WE TOOK A FEW MINUTES TO JOT DOWN WHAT WE THOUGHT YOU MIGHT ASK, AS WELL AS SOME RIDICULOUS THINGS WE HOPE YOU DON'T ASK.
